Tales from Home

A former journalist and teacher, Patty Donovan has written her family-life column since 1992. The Telegraph (Nashua, NH) has carried Patty's column all of that time, even though she and her family moved from New Hampshire to Texas in 1994. She's hoping the powers that be at The Telegraph continue not to notice her absence.

Patty's column also has appeared in The Dallas Morning News, a handful of Internet "e-zines," and it ran for three years in the Plano (TX) Star Courier. (Then there was that pesky change-of-leadership with the new owners taking literally the "free" in "freelance.")

Welcome! Here's hoping you'll visit often and share her appreciation of "family" in all its fun, goodness and joy. Inspiration for Patty's Tales from Home comes from her husband, Husband, and their four sons.
